POS SYSTEM UPDATE – WHAT’S NEW IN RELEASE V8.4.18.0

IMPORTANT:  .Net Framework 4.8 will be required for future MyPOS Connect releases.  All computers running MyPOS Connect on a Windows version below Windows 10 21H2 will be required to manually install the .Net Framework 4.8 which can be downloaded from this link: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2088631 (To prevent disruption of service, we recommend that this be done in the next 30 days.)

Following are improvements made in this release of MyPOS Connect:

Added definable “Security Option” for discounts

Back Office –> Data Setup –> Discounts

Added new feature to activate and deactivate devices

Back Office –> System Setup –> Store Setup –> Devices tab

Added new logic to allow gift cards to be used on Work Order deposits

Added option to include credit card receipt info on “built-in” receipt

Added option to set Quote Receipts to “Always” print or print “As Required”

For built-in Quotes: Back Office –> System Setup –> Device Options –> Receipt Settings –> Receipt Print Quote

For Custom Quotes: Back Office –> System Setup –> Device Options –> Receipt Settings –> Receipt Print Invoice Quote

Added option to set Work Order Receipts to “Always” print or print “As Required”

For built in Work Orders: Back Office –> System Setup –> Device Options –> Receipt Settings –> Receipt Print Work Order

For Custom Work Orders: Back Office –> System Setup –> Device Options –> Receipt Settings –> Receipt Print Invoice Work Order

Added support for currency on Payment Methods

Back Office –> Data Setup –> Payment Methods

Added support to link specific discounts to buttons in the till

Create a new Program Function button with DISCOUNT (followed by Discount Code) in the Target Function

Fixed issue where when importing to stock count from text file, product codes over 20 characters were being truncated
